Brief Tour Description:
Start your day on Bainbridge Island with a thoughtfully curated journey around our beautiful island. This two-hour morning tour embarks from Millstream Bainbridge Gift Shop (122 Winslow Way East) and shuttles riders to its first stop: The Japanese American Exclusion Memorial one of the island’s most meaningful landmarks. Set along the waterfront, this stop offers a moment to reflect on Bainbridge Island’s history and the stories that continue to shape the community today.
From there, we head to Lynwood Center, a relaxed Bavarian stylized area on the south end of the island. With its waterfront views, local shops, it’s the perfect place to stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and take in the island’s slower pace.
Next, we make our way through the island’s lush interior to the Grand Forest. This portion of the ride gives you a feel for the island’s forested landscape and peaceful surroundings.
We then continue through the Rolling Bay area, known for its small-town feel, before heading toward Day Road, home to local favorites like wineries, farms, and artisan businesses- a glimpse into Bainbridge’s creative and agricultural roots.
The tour concludes at the north end of the island, Fay Bainbridge Park, where sweeping views of Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains provide a perfect ending. It’s a chance to take in the open shoreline, breathe in the salt air, and capture one last photo before heading back to the downtown Winslow area.
